TORONTO, Dec. 12, 2019 /CNW/ - Unattended cooking is the leading cause of home fires in Ontario. To prevent kitchen fires over the holidays, the Office of the Fire Marshal (OFM) and George Brown College have teamed up to share practical tips on how to cook safely.
Media are invited to join George Brown College's Chef Hemant Kanchan, Chef Missy Hui and Manny Garcia, Supervisor, OFM Fire Investigations, in preparing locally-sourced seasonal dishes that can be made by families over the holidays, while keeping fire safety in mind.
