MEDIA ADVISORY - First Nations Finance Authority to Hold News Conference on Parliament Hill Urging Canada to Choose Partnership Over Paternalism to Close the Infrastructure Gap for First Nations Français
OTTAWA, ON, March 15, 2023 /CNW/ - First Nations Finance Authority (FNFA), joined by chiefs and leaders from communities across Canada, will hold a news conference to recommend a new approach in the upcoming federal budget so that First Nations can begin to bridge the infrastructure gap now.
Canada is falling far short of its pledge to improve the living conditions of First Nations and close the infrastructure gap with the rest of Canada by 2030.
