LONGUEUIL, QC, April 4, 2019 /CNW Telbec/ - On April 8, Canadian Space Agency (CSA) astronaut David Saint-Jacques will conduct a spacewalk. This will be the first time in 12 years that a CSA astronaut is going on a spacewalk.
Former astronaut Dave Williams, who holds the record for the highest number of hours performing spacewalks of any CSA astronaut, will be on site to provide commentary on this unique experience and take questions from the media.
CSA robotic flight controllers will support David Saint-Jacques' spacewalk.
Media representatives are invited to go to the CSA any time between 6:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. while the event is being broadcast live. Those who cannot attend in person can watch the event live (or watch the video afterwards) on the CSA's YouTube channel.
