TORONTO, July 10, 2024 /CNW/ - French Language Services Commissioner of Ontario Carl Bouchard will publicly release a report on his investigation into unilingual government out-of-home advertising on Friday, July 12 at 9:30 a.m., after it is tabled electronically with the Legislative Assembly.
Commissioner Bouchard will hold a press conference at the Queen's Park Media Studio on July 12 between 9:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Journalists can participate in person or by teleconference. The press conference will also be streamed live on the Ombudsman's website – www.ombudsman.on.ca.
The report, press release and opening remarks by the Commissioner will be posted on the Ombudsman's website at 9:30 a.m. and shared via social media.
Accredited journalists who wish to participate in the press conference and obtain an embargoed copy of the report beforehand are asked to request an invitation by 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 11.
