MEDIA ADVISORY - GEORGE BROWN COLLEGE AND THE MISSISSAUGAS OF THE CREDIT FIRST NATION TO SIGN MOU

TORONTO, June 20, 2022 /CNW/ - On Tuesday, June 21, 2022, members of the media are invited to join George Brown College and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation (MCFN) to commemorate the official signing of a memorandum of understanding. 
The college and MCFN will engage in actions to highlight the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation as the caretakers of the land on which George Brown sits and operates.    
The agreement will include a new and progressive plan to support Indigenous learners and reduce barriers to education.
