OTTAWA, April 2, 2019 /CNW/ - In less than two months, Ottawa will welcome the 2019 Open Government Partnership Global (OPG) Summit. This international event will take place from May 29 to 31, 2019, in Ottawa, Ontario and will bring together the 79 OPG member countries and 20 local governments from around the world. Join us to share knowledge and create solutions for more open and transparent governments around the globe.
Media distribution list
To make sure not to miss anything, members of the media are invited to register for the event and are encouraged to subscribe to the official media distribution list. This resource will provide the latest media advisories and news releases, plus blogs and other valuable media resources.
Media accreditation
Remember, media professionals must be accredited to access the Summit's venues and media centre. All media professionals will be asked for a letter of assignment or proof of work.
Non-professional media are encouraged to participate in the Summit as a registered participant.
Some sessions and interview opportunities may only be accessible to people who are accredited as media. Media who wish to attend are encouraged to register through the Media category.
Media are responsible for arranging their own accommodations and are urged to register as early as possible. (Consult our Accommodation webpage for more information)
Media centre
Media accreditation allows media to access the Summit's official media centre, media activities and media liaison services to arrange interviews with speakers and subject matter experts.
