Media Advisory - Government of Canada to announce funding to support early childhood in Francophone communities

GATINEAU, QC, March 4, 2025 /CNW/ - The Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of National Defence, Marie-France Lalonde and the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Health and to the Minister of Mental Health and Addictions and Associate Minister of Health, Yasir Naqvi, will make an announcement to support early childhood development initiatives in Francophone minority communities.

The announcement is being made on behalf of the Minister of Families, Children and Social Development, the Honourable Jenna Sudds.

The Parliamentary Secretaries will be accompanied by the Honourable Mona Fortier, Member of Parliament for Ottawa–Vanier.

A photo opportunity and media availability will follow the announcement.
