ALMA, QC , June 28, 2021 /CNW/ - The Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, will make an announcement to help Canada's aluminum industry become a leader in the global low-carbon economy and to support good jobs throughout the supply chain.

To access the event
Media outlets wishing to take part in the teleconference are asked to contact ISED Media Relations mailto:no later than 5 p.m. (ET) on June 28 to receive the dial-in information.
Media representatives wishing to attend in person are invited to go to the North access booth of the Alma plant. You will then be driven by minivan to the site where the announcement will take place. To get to the North access booth of the Alma plant:
- From Highway 169 in Alma, turn on Rue des Pins Ouest.
- Turn right on Chemin de la Rive.
- Turn left on Rang Mistook.
- Turn left on Chemin de la Traverse.
Dress code
- For safety reasons, long pants, long sleeves and closed shoes are mandatory.
- High heels are not permitted.
COVID-19 guidelines
If attending in person, media must arrive no later than 10:30 a.m. (ET) and must comply with local public health guidelines and the following security rules:
- Masks must be worn at all times and hand sanitization upon arrival is mandatory.
- Physical distancing of two metres must be respected.
- A COVID-19 form will have to be completed on site.
