Media Advisory - Government of Canada to announce support for the development of quantum technologies

VARENNES, QC, Jan. 20, 2025 /CNW/ - Sherry Romanado, Parliamentary Secretary to the President of the King's Privy Council for Canada and Minister of Emergency Preparedness and Member of Parliament for Longueuil-Charles-LeMoyne, on behalf of the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, will announce support for groundbreaking research that will drive innovation and the development of quantum technologies.

She will be accompanied by Professor Alejandro Adem, President of the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).

Following the announcement, members of the media are invited to participate in a lab tour.
