Media Advisory - Government of Canada to Make a National Housing-Related Announcement

THORNHILL, ON, July 6, 2021 /CNW/ - The Government of Canada will be making an announcement related to housing.

The Honourable Deb Schulte, Minister of Seniors and Member of Parliament for King—Vaughan, on behalf of the Honourable Ahmed Hussen, Minister of Families, Children and Social Development, will speak at the ribbon cutting for the newly built Lou Fruitman Reena Residence, which will offer affordable and supportive housing for over 130 adults and seniors with diverse needs. Minister Schulte will be joined by representatives from the Government of Ontario, Vaughan Mayor Maurizio Bevilacqua and representatives from Reena.

Minister Schulte will be available to on-site members of the media after the event.
