Media Advisory - Government of Canada to make an announcement about preventing gun crime and gang violence for the city of New Westminster, British Columbia

OTTAWA, ON, Feb. 23, 2023 /CNW/ - Members of the media are invited to join Parm Bains, Member of Parliament for Steveston – Richmond East, on behalf of the Honourable Marco Mendicino, Minister of Public Safety, to make an announcement regarding federal support for organizations on the front lines of the fight against gun crime and gang violence in the City of New Westminster.

MP Bains will be joined by His Worship Patrick Johnstone, Mayor of the City of New Westminster.

Following the announcement, MP Bains and Mayor Johnstone will take questions from the media.
