Media Advisory - Government of Canada to make an important announcement about new funding for critical infrastructure projects at St. John's International Airport Français
ST. JOHN'S, NL, March 7, 2022 /CNW/ - The Minister of Transport, the Honourable Omar Alghabra, the Minister of Labor, the Honourable Seamus O'Regan, the Member of Parliament for St. John's East, Joanne Thompson, and the Chief Executive Officer of the St, John's International Airport Authority, Mr. Peter Avery, will announce new funding to help the airport recover from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and to support continued air services and important transportation infrastructure projects at the airport.
The Ministers, the MP, and Mr. Avery will be available to answer questions from the media following the announcement.

In line with the Public Health Agency of Canada and Public Health Newfoundland and Labrador health measures, in-person attendance will be controlled. Official photo identification must be presented at registration. Please note that all attendees will be required to show proof of vaccination. Wearing a face covering and social distancing are mandatory.
