Media Advisory - Government to make an announcement about preventing crime and violence in Surrey

SURREY, BC, April 20, 2023 /CNW/ - Members of the media are invited to join the Honourable Marco Mendicino, Minister of Public Safety, to make an announcement about preventing crime and violence in the City of Surrey.

He will be joined by the Honourable Mike Farnworth, British Columbia Minister of Public Safety and Solicitor General, Sukh Dhaliwal, Member of Parliament for Surrey—Newton, Randeep Sarai, Member of Parliament for Surrey Centre and Her Worship Brenda Locke, Mayor of Surrey.

Following the announcement, Minister Mendicino, Minister Farnworth, MP Dhaliwal, MP Sarai and Mayor Locke will take questions from the media.
