The governments of Canada and British Columbia support French-language programs and schools in the province
VANCOUVER, BC, March 2, 2023 /CNW/ - The Honourable Ginette Petitpas Taylor, Minister of Official Languages and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, will take part in a press conference Friday, accompanied by the Honourable Rachna Singh, British Columbia Minister of Education and Child Care.
They will announce significant funding in support of the increased demand for French educators in both French minority-language schools and French second-language programs.
