Media Advisory - Governments of Canada and Manitoba expand access to early learning and child care
GATINEAU, QC, Feb. 14, 2025 /CNW/ - The Honourable Jenna Sudds, Minister of Families, Children and Social Development, joined by the Honourable Terry Duguid, Minister of Sport and Minister responsible for Prairies Economic Development Canada, and the Honourable Tracy Schmidt, Manitoba's Minister of Education and Early Childhood Learning, will announce the creation of new affordable child care spaces in Winnipeg.
The ministers will be accompanied by the Honourable Dan Vandal, Member of Parliament for Saint Boniface–Saint Vital, and Ben Carr, Member of Parliament for Winnipeg South Centre.
