Media Advisory - Governor General to award the Sovereign's Medal for Volunteers at Rideau Hall

OTTAWA, ON, April 19, 2022 /CNW/ - Members of the media are invited to Rideau Hall to cover the Sovereign's Medal for Volunteers ceremony, during which Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, will present the medal to 24 deserving individuals.

Recipients will be recognized for their exceptional dedication to community service. It is the highest honour for volunteer service that an individual can receive within the Canadian Honours System.
