Media Advisory: Governor General to Celebrate The Royal Society of Canada's 130th Anniversary Français
OTTAWA, Nov. 15, 2012 /CNW/ - In honour of The Royal Society of Canada's (RSC) 130th anniversary, His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, will deliver a speech at the Opening Ceremonies of the Annual General Meeting, being held at the Ottawa Convention Centre, on Friday, November 16, 2012, at 5 pm.
As Honorary Fellow and Patron of the RSC, His Excellency will congratulate its Council members and new Fellows on reaching this important milestone, and will underline how the organization's initiatives and intellectual leadership are helping to build a smarter and more caring country.
