The recipients of the 2022 Governor General's Innovation Awards are:

• CarbonCure, for their work in the field of carbon dioxide removal technologies for the concrete industry
• The Lipid Nanoparticles (LNP) systems project team, for developing technology that enables mRNA vaccines to fight against COVID-19
• The ApplyBoard team, for their work in improving global access to education
• Pirurvik Preschool – A Place to Grow, for its transformative early childhood education initiative that combines Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit (Inuit customs) and Inungnuinniq (traditional education for Inuit children) using Montessori methods
• The BrainBox AI team, for its use of artificial intelligence technology to optimize HVAC systems in real time
• The team behind Desired Sensation Level (DSL), the world's first paediatric hearing aid prescription.
