"Ontarians are fed up with the state of long-term care. "Despite being very profitable, this employer continues to disrespect the more than 1000 health care workers who have sacrificed so much fighting the against COVID-19."
Health care workers at eleven long-term care facilities entered bargaining on November 1, 2021. When the parties came to an impasse the Union held a work action December 15, 2021 at Trillium Village one of the participating LTC facilities. Future work actions will be announced up until either the parties resume talks or the arbitration process is exhausted.
