Media Advisory - In View of Jean Paul Riopelle's International Centenary Celebrations in 2023: Riopelle Foundation Unveils its Ambitious Official Program Français
MONTREAL, Dec. 6, 2021 /CNW Telbec/ - Less than a year before the launch of the celebrations surrounding the 100th anniversary of the birth of world-renowned Canadian artist Jean Paul Riopelle, the Jean Paul Riopelle Foundation will be unveiling, this Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at 11:00 AM, the flagship projects of a program of unprecedented magnitude that promises to be rich and highly diversified.
Media representatives are invited to a large-scale press event which will be held at the 7 Fingers headquarters, and which will include artistic performances giving a foretaste of the grandiose festivities which will take place from the fall of 2022 and throughout the Riopelle centenary year in 2023.
Hosted by Geneviève Borne, this press event will be held in the presence of several dignitaries and patrons of the Riopelle Foundation, as well as representatives of prestigious cultural organizations that are partners of the artist's centenary celebrations, with projects bringing together a vast array of artistic disciplines in Quebec, Canada and elsewhere in the world.

About the Jean Paul Riopelle Foundation
Envisioned by Riopelle in the 1960s, the Jean Paul Riopelle Foundation was established in 2019 by a group of Canadian philanthropists, namely Michael J. Audain, O.C., O.B.C., Yseult Riopelle, Pierre Lassonde, C.M., G.O.Q., André Desmarais, O.C., O.Q., The Honourable Serge Joyal, CP, OC, OQ, MSRC, Ad.E as well as Dr. John R.
