Media advisory - Inauguration of HEC Montréal's new building in the downtown business district

MONTREAL, Sept. 13, 2023 /CNW/ - Media representatives are invited to attend the inauguration of HEC Montréal's Hélène Desmarais Building on Friday, September 15 in the presence of members of the School's management, representatives of the provincial government, leaders from the business community, members of the academic community and partners. The media can arrive as of 10:00 a.m. to take photos of the official guided tour with dignitaries that will be conducted before the ceremony (see detailed schedule).

Located in the heart of Montreal's business district, this new, accessible, sustainable, and unifying building that fits seamlessly into its surroundings, focuses on continuing education. It will host MBA and EMBA programs, certificates, specialized graduate diplomas and microprograms, Executive Education and First Nations Executive Education programs, in addition to housing several research and knowledge transfer activities and the School's entrepreneurship and innovation facility.

• 10:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.: photos may be taken during a guided tour with representatives of the provincial government and of the School's management. Go to the welcome desk as of 10:00 a.m. to join the visit. Camera and technical crews are asked to arrive at 9:45 am.
  
  
• 10:45 a.m.: media reception for the inauguration ceremony in the Rachelle et Alain Paris amphitheatre (level 3). Please arrive no later than 15 minutes before the beginning of the ceremony.
  
  
• 11:00 a.m.: commencement of the inauguration ceremony.
  
  
• 11:55 a.m.: group photo in the presence of the media outside the amphitheatre.
  
  
• 12:00 noon: individual interviews.
