MONTRÉAL, Feb. 17, 2021 /CNW Telbec/ - What has been the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Greater Montréal's attractiveness for foreign investment, international organisations, entrepreneurs, workers and students from around the world? To address the situation, Montréal International is inviting media representatives to the release of its 2020 results on Monday, February 22, at noon.
This virtual event will take place with the participation of Valérie Plante, Mayor of Montréal and President of the Communauté métropolitaine de Montréal, Pierre Fitzgibbon, Minister of Economy and Innovation, and the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages.
During this press conference, Jean Laurin and Stéphane Paquet, respectively President of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Montréal International, will present not only impressive results, but also their major highlights for the year and explain how Montréal has managed to position itself among the most resilient cities in North America. They will conclude with economic recovery opportunities expected for 2021.
