OCASI - Ontario Council of Agencies Serving Immigrants, Colour of Poverty-Colour of Change (COP-COC) and the Chinese Canadian National Council for Social Justice (CCNC-SJ) will establish the Canadian chapter of a North American Partnership for Equity and Racial Justice, a tri-national network of experts and organizations committed to equity and racial justice as expressed in the Declaration on the North American Partnership for Equity and Racial Justice.
The Canadian Network for Equity and Racial Justice (CNERJ) will be responsible for setting up the Canadian chapter of that trilateral network, and in doing so will actively engage with representatives of the community, business, media, academia, education, philanthropic, labour, arts, sport, and health sectors. CNERJ is funded by the Department of Canadian Heritage.
