MONTRÉAL, Oct. 14, 2021 /CNW Telbec/ - Demers Ambulance, in collaboration with Lion Electric and the Quebec government, announces the unveiling of its new all-electric ambulance on October 18th, in the presence of Mr. Pierre Fitzgibbon, Minister of Economy and Innovation and Minister responsible for Regional Economic Development, and Mr. Christian Dubé, Minister of Health and Social Services.
The R&D teams at Demers Ambulances and Lion Electric have been working for several years to imagine and design an all-electric ambulance model that has the potential to revolutionize pre-hospital emergency transport and care throughout Quebec and North America.
Combining innovation, performance and safety, the electric ambulance manufactured in Quebec will embody a major energy transformation. The electric ambulance is the result of funding granted to Demers and Lion under the Mobel project and the Electrification and Climate Change Fund (ECCF).
