FORT MCMURRAY, AB, May 9, 2019 /CNW/ - CUPE members locked out by Wood Buffalo Housing will rally tomorrow with supporters to draw attention to the issues raised by the labour dispute.
CUPE Local 1505 President Judy Collier says actions by WBH will hurt the community.
"Replacing valued employees with fly-by-night contractors will result in poorly maintained properties and unkempt buildings, hurting everyone in Wood Buffalo," said Collier. "Our rally isn't just for the 49 employees, but for all people who want to stand up for Wood Buffalo."
