Why Attend: |
"We invite the community to experience a groundbreaking theatrical event that amplifies the voices of individuals living with dementia and their care partners," said Kristin Bartlett production co-director and Active Living Coordinator at the Alzheimer Society of Toronto, "What you will witness is the transformative power of art, music, and storytelling in fostering connection and understanding and support the ongoing efforts of the Alzheimer Society to remove the misconceptions and stigma around dementia. " |
"Anyone whose sacred circle has been touched by dementia knows that it is an illness about redefining — redefining relationships, redefining time and how it operates, and redefining what love means inside a life of precarity. This show embraces and illuminates the complex realities of caring for someone when down is up, up is down, and time is the most precious currency we have." |
