Media Advisory - Media access to Mel Lastman Square for #VaxTheNorth, a North York vaccination event
TORONTO, July 23, 2021 /CNW/ - Media are invited to attend our #VaxTheNorth clinic at Mel Lastman Square and the North York Civic Centre this weekend. In order to ensure efficient and timely operation of the event and allow for social distancing, we are asking media to join us one at a time inside the vaccination clinic located inside the Civic Centre. Please note you must RSVP stating your email address and fill out the health screening form upon entry to the clinic:
Date: Saturday, July 24, 2021
Arrival time: Media to arrive by 1:45 p.m. to allow time to be escorted to location and set up
Event time: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. (15-minute blocks)
Details: Footage of inside clinic, people receiving first and second doses of the vaccine at #VaxTheNorth
Location: North York Civic Centre, 5100 Yonge St. Enter from via the South-East corner of Mel Lastman Square on Yonge Street (see map attached and there will be signs at entrance and along Yonge Street)

Media are advised to park at one of the following locations:
- East side of Beecroft Rd. (next to Mel Lastman Square)
- Either side of North York Blvd.
- North York Centre/Novotel (underground parking)
