OTTAWA, ON, Aug. 20, 2024 /CNW/ - Tomorrow afternoon, Premier Doug Ford and Minister Sylvia Jones are anticipated to announce devastating changes to provincial funding for safe consumption sites and overdose prevention all across Ontario at the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) 2024 Conference in Ottawa.

Media representatives are invited to a briefing with subject matter experts on the impacts flowing from the anticipated announcement of cuts to provincial funding for supervised drug consumption sites.
