#GoodIdeasOttawa campaign highlights that shopping online is more local than you think
OTTAWA, ON, Dec. 13, 2021 /CNW/ - 8-in-10 Ottawans say they plan to shop local this holiday season - and Meta wants to help them discover the perfect holiday gift.
On Tuesday, December 14, Meta will unveil its #GoodIdeasOttawa shoppable window display in Ottawa's historic ByWard Market, putting 6 local online businesses and the good ideas behind them on display in the heart of the community. Ottawa residents will have the opportunity to discover unique local gift ideas and purchase them from the display.
The Hon. Nina Tangri, Ontario's Associate Minister of Small Business and Red Tape Reduction, and Sueling Ching, President and CEO of the Ottawa Board of Trade, will join Garrick Tiplady, Canadian Country Director at Meta, for the unveiling.
