Media advisory - Minister Champagne in Saskatchewan to announce next steps to advance Canada's leadership in low-carbon concrete and highlight the 2022 Fall Economic Statement Français
OTTAWA, ON, Nov. 8, 2022 /CNW/ - The Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, and Adam Auer, President and CEO of the Cement Association of Canada, are set to announce the Government of Canada's and the Canadian cement and concrete industry's next steps toward strengthening Canada's global leadership in the production of low-carbon concrete.
The Minister will also attend an event at the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT), where he will highlight the 2022 Fall Economic Statement, the Government of Canada's plan to make life more affordable and build an economy that works for everyone. He will tour the SIIT Indigenous Innovation Accelerator, the very first of its kind in Saskatchewan.
