Media Advisory - Minister Champagne to announce assignments for Canadian Space Agency astronauts Français
LONGUEUIL, QC, Nov. 20, 2023 /CNW/ - On November 22, the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister responsible for the Canadian Space Agency (CSA), will announce new assignments for Canadian astronauts.
Following the announcement, the Minister and the astronauts will visit the Moon Base, a food and health hub at the CSA. Media are invited to attend an educational activity with a youth group from the West Island Black Community Association and a representative from Ulnooweg Education Centre, a not-for-profit Indigenous organization in Atlantic Canada.
CSA experts, including astronauts, will be on site and available for interviews. All interview requests for CSA experts must be coordinated with the CSA Media Relations Office (information below). Interview requests for Minister Champagne must be coordinated directly with his office.
All media representatives will be required to check in and present a piece of photo ID at the gate and at reception. We suggest arriving early to avoid potential delays due to security measures.
