Media advisory - Minister Champagne to welcome European Commission's Executive Vice-President Margrethe Vestager in Montréal Français
MONTRÉAL, Sept. 24, 2024 /CNW/ - The Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, will meet with Margrethe Vestager, the European Commission's Executive Vice-President for A Europe Fit for the Digital Age and Commissioner for Competition, in Montréal to discuss matters of mutual interest and address bilateral and global issues.
Minister Champagne and Executive Vice-President Vestager will also participate in the unveiling of the MonarQ quantum computer and in a fireside chat on economic security, artificial intelligence, research and innovation, and competition policy reforms. The fireside chat is part of a luncheon organized by the Montreal Council on Foreign Relations. A media availability will follow the unveiling.
