MEDIA ADVISORY - Minister Daniel Vandal and Minister Ranj Pillai to announce funding to support tourism operators across the Yukon

WHITEHORSE, YT, May 26, 2022 /CNW/ - Please be advised that the Honourable Daniel Vandal, Minister of Northern Affairs, Minister for PrairiesCan and Minister for CanNor; Brendan Hanley, Member of Parliament for Yukon; and the Honourable Ranj Pillai, Yukon Minister of Economic Development and Tourism and Culture, will make an announcement regarding investments to support tourism owners and operators across the territory as they adapt and grow beyond the pandemic. They will be joined by Blake Rogers, Executive Director, Tourism Industry Association of the Yukon; Charlene Alexander, Executive Director, the Yukon First Nations Culture and Tourism Association; and Sandy Legge, Executive Director, Wilderness Tourism Association of the Yukon.

Following remarks, Minister Vandal and Minister Pillai will be available to answer questions from the media.
