OTTAWA, ON, Feb. 11, 2025 /CNW/ - Members of the media are invited to join the Honourable David McGuinty, Minister of Public Safety, while he visits the Lansdowne port of entry, in Ontario. Minister McGuinty will be joined by members of the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).
The Minister will be available to answer questions at the event.

- Media will be able to capture b-roll video and take photos of:
- Seized items by the CBSA at the port of entry;
- Scanner and boat;
- Detector dog and secondary vehicle examination demonstrations; and
- an RCMP Black Hawk helicopter that will be used to monitor the Canada-U.S. border.
- Media representatives who wish to attend the event must arrive before 10:15 a.m. EST.
