The Honourable Steven Guilbeault, Minister of Canadian Heritage, will announce funding for three Métis organizations in support of Métis Nation Indigenous Languages in Manitoba
MANITOBA, Oct. 14, 2020 /CNW/ - The Honourable Steven Guilbeault, Minister of Canadian Heritage, along with the Honourable Dan Vandal, Minister of Northern Affairs, and Member of Parliament (Saint-Boniface–Saint-Vital), will host a virtual press conference to announce funding in support of Métis Nation Indigenous Languages in Manitoba. This funding announcement is part of the Government of Canada's efforts to ensure the promotion and revitalization of First Nations, Inuit and Métis languages in Canada.
