Media Advisory - Minister Mélanie Joly will announce funding to promote the Outaouais region and Quebec's Urban Winter Fun program Français
GATINEAU, QC, June 5, 2019 /CNW Telbec/ - Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)
The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Tourism, Official Languages and La Francophonie, will announce financial assistance for the Outaouais regional tourism association to support projects aimed at stimulating the regional economy through the creation of sustainable jobs for the middle class.
She will be accompanied by Greg Fergus, Member of Parliament for Hull-Aylmer and Parliamentary Secretary to the President of the Treasury Board and Minister of Digital Government; Steven MacKinnon, Member of Parliament for Gatineau and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Public Services and Procurement and Accessibility; and William Amos, Member of Parliament for Pontiac.
The announcement will be made on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED).
The Minister will take questions from the media following the announcement.
