Media Advisory - Minister Mendicino to make an announcement about preventing gun and gang violence in Six Nations Français
OHSWEKEN, ON, July 21, 2022 /CNW/ - Members of the media are invited to join the Honourable Marco Mendicino, Minister of Public Safety, to make an announcement regarding federal support for Indigenous-led initiatives that address gun and gang violence in the communities that make up the Six Nations of the Grand River.
The Honourable Filomena Tassi, Minister of Public Services and Procurement, Vance Badaway, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Indigenous Services, Lisa Hepfner, Member of Parliament for Hamilton Mountain, Ontario, and Tim Louis, Member of Parliament for Kitchener—Conestoga, Ontario, will be in attendance.
Following the announcement, Minister Mendicino will take questions from the media.
