Media Advisory - Minister Mendicino to make an announcement to support Akwesasne to counter organized crime

AKWESASNE, QC, May 24, 2023 /CNW/ - Members of the media are invited to join the Honourable Marco Mendicino, Minister of Public Safety, as he makes an announcement regarding federal support for Indigenous-led initiatives to help increase community safety in Akwesasne.

He will be joined by Abram Benedict, Grand Chief of the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne and Shawn Dulude, Chief of Police for the Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service.

Following the announcement, Minister Mendicino will take questions from the media.
