Media Advisory - Minister of Transport to make an important announcement on ballast water, which allows vessels to operate safely, in the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River regions

WINDSOR, ON, Feb. 21, 2023 /CNW/ - The Minister of Transport, the Honourable Omar Alghabra, and the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Disability Inclusion and Member of Parliament for Windsor–Tecumseh, Irek Kusmierczyk, will make an important announcement on ballast water in the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River regions. The President and Chief Executive Officer of the Windsor Port Authority, Steve Salmons, and the President and Chief Executive Officer of Morterm Limited, Tony De Thomasis, will also be present.
