Media Advisory- Minister Sudds to announce investments for children and families in Nunavut Français
GATINEAU, QC, Feb. 27, 2025 /CNW/ - The Honourable Jenna Sudds, Minister of Families, Children and Social Development, will travel to Iqaluit from February 26 to 28.
During her visit, Minister Sudds will make two announcements benefiting children and families in the territory.
National School Food Program announcement
First, the Minister will make an announcement on the National School Food Program. She will be accompanied by the Honourable P.J. Akeeagok, Premier of Nunavut; the Honourable Pamela Hakongak Gross, Nunavut's Deputy Premier, Minister of Education, Minister of Human Resources and Minister responsible for the Workers' Safety and Compensation Commission; the Honourable John Main, Minister of Health, Minister responsible for Suicide Prevention and Minister responsible for the Qulliq Energy Corporation; and Solomon Awa, Mayor of Iqaluit.

Tumikuluit Saipaaqivik Daycare ribbon-cutting ceremony
Minister Sudds will also attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the newly expanded Tumikuluit Saipaaqivik Daycare.
