TORONTO, Nov. 9, 2020 /CNW/ - On Thursday, November 12, 2020, at 8:00 a.m., Toronto Foundation will host a webinar to launch the Toronto Fallout Report. This new research report documents the full toll of the pandemic through the lens of nonprofit leaders whose organizations have been playing a critical role keeping the most marginalized and vulnerable residents afloat. Using real-time quantitative data from dozens of sources and qualitative inputs from more than 40 experts, this unique analysis underscores the gaps and opportunities for a fully equitable recovery. New primary research reveals how nonprofit organizations are faring with increased demands and restrictions, fewer resources, and their concerns for the future.
Close to 500 Toronto city builders and philanthropists are registered to attend the event featuring a robust panel discussion with four nonprofit leaders that will focus on the report's key findings and their insights on where we need to go next. The webinar will be moderated by Tai Huynh, founding editor-in-chief of The Local.
