"OPSEU stands in solidarity with its members who have thus far been left out despite the essential, life-saving, and risk-filled work they are performing to keep Ontarians safe," says OPSEU President, Warren (Smokey) Thomas. "These professionals are also heroes. Pandemic Pay for all now! We need the federal government to step up with more support for the forgotten heroes."
"We have tried over and over again to get action from the Ford government on this huge misstep with little dialogue in return," says OPSEU Hospital Professionals Division Chair, Sara Labelle. "If the Premier wants to keep dodging us, we have no choice but to take our frustrations directly to him on the front yard of his workplace. It's time to listen and give these heroes what they deserve!"
