TORONTO, June 20, 2023 /CNW/ - To mark the start of Developmental Services Appreciation Week on June 19, workers from across Ontario will hold community block walks in regions across the province.
The community block walks are a chance for the workers to reach out to the local residents and businesses in their area and raise awareness about this overworked and understaffed sector. The campaign – It's Life Changing Work – calls for the Ford government to ensure that these skilled and dedicated frontline workers have the resources needed to provide the quality services Ontarians with developmental disabilities deserve.
