Media Advisory - OPTrust workers to hold information picket about 'disrespectful' offer that could lead to strike
TORONTO, March 5, 2019 /CNW/ - The 150 members of OPSEU Local 568 who work at the pension fund OPTrust will hold an information picket before work on Wednesday, March 6, to raise awareness of the 'disrespectful' wage offer that could lead to strike.
The Local 568 members, who could be on strike or locked out as early as March 21, are being offered wage increases that are barely half of what workers at other pension funds have received.
