Media advisory - Parliamentary Secretary Peter Fragiskatos to make an announcement in Yellowknife about the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program

YELLOWKNIFE, NT, Oct. 13, 2022 /CNW/ - Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of National Revenue, Peter Fragiskatos, will make an announcement at a Yellowknife tax clinic about the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program and how it can help make life more affordable by helping Canadians access important benefits and credits. A media availability will follow.

A new funding formula for the program will be unveiled. It will allow the Canada Revenue Agency to provide more funding to eligible organizations, in particular, those that serve Northern and Indigenous communities.
