Media Advisory - Parliamentary Secretary van Koeverden to announce investments to support participation in sport

The funding will help remove barriers to participation in sport, more specifically for underrepresented groups such as Black, Indigenous and racialized communities, persons with disabilities, 2SLGBTQI+ people, persons with low incomes, seniors and newcomers

TORONTO, March 20, 2025 /CNW/ - Parliamentary Secretary Adam van Koeverden will be in Toronto on Friday to announce funding to support participation in sport. The announcement will be made on behalf of the Honourable Steven Guilbeault, Minister of Canadian Culture and Identity, Parks Canada and Quebec Lieutenant.
