TORONTO, June 22, 2012 /CNW/ - In celebration of the 10th anniversary of Cook for the Cure, a partnership between KitchenAid Canada and the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF), hundreds of Torontonians will participate in the first ever PINKnic flash dinner.
On Monday, June 25, the part picnic, part flash mob aims to raise funds and awareness to support CBCF. With encouragement from Lynn Crawford, the event hopes to inspire Canadians to host their own Cook for the Cure parties.
WHAT: | The Cook for the Cure Pinknic, presented by KitchenAid, takes the fun, spirit and spontaneity of a flash mob, and adds a splash of white and pink to an unforgettable outdoor fundraising dinner for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. |
Watch as 400 white-clad guests listen to chef Lynn Crawford speak, enjoy the entertainment of a jazz quartet, and dine under the stars on picnic-friendly food they bring along. | |
With $20 contributions made by guests pre-event to secure seats, 100% of funds raised will go to the CBCF. | |
