Media Advisory - Press Conference for an Important Announcement Regarding Recreational and Sports Infrastructure in the city of Sorel-Tracy Français
SOREL-TRACY, QC, June 22, 2021 /CNW/ - Media representatives are invited to a press conference during which the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Small Business, Export Promotion and International Trade, Ms. Rachel Bendayan*, on behalf of the Minister of Infrastructure and Communities, the Honorable Catherine McKenna, and the Minister of Education and Minister responsible for the Status of Women, Ms. Isabelle Charest, will make an announcement concerning recreational and sports infrastructures in the city of Sorel-Tracy.
For the occasion, they will be accompanied by the Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Education (vocational training component) and MP for Richelieu, Mr. Jean-Bernard Émond, and the Mayor of Sorel-Tracy, Mr. Serge Péloquin
The conference will also be broadcast on the Facebook page Au Québec, on bouge!.

Media representatives wishing to participate in the event must pre-register, indicating that they wish to attend the event, by emailing [email protected] before 10:00 a.m., June 22. Only those who have received confirmation of their registration will be able to attend the press conference. This confirmation will be sent one hour before the event. Note that only one journalist per media can participate. The number of journalists present is limited. In addition, two cameras for all media (camera pool) as well as two photographers will be allowed on site.
People attending the press conference should not have symptoms similar to those of COVID-19 or have been in contact with anyone who has been diagnosed with the disease within the last 14 days. Great importance will be attached to the observance of physical distancing and other hygiene measures. Note that wearing a face mask is mandatory.
* It should be noted that Ms. Bendayan will be present by videoconference.
