The Prime Minister will address Canadians on the COVID-19 situation and hold a media availability. President of the Queen's Privy Council for Canada and Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs Dominic LeBlanc, Minister of Health Patty Hajdu, Chief Public Health Officer of Canada Dr. Theresa Tam, and Deputy Chief Public Health Officer of Canada Dr. Howard Njoo will be in attendance.

He will be joined by the Minister of Science, Innovation and Industry François-Philippe Champagne, Chief Science Advisor of Canada Dr. Mona Nemer, and President of the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) Alejandro Adem.
