Media Advisory: PSAC pickets passport office in Vancouver
VANCOUVER, BC, April 26, 2023 /CNW/ - Members of the Public Service Alliance of Canada are ramping up the pressure on the government by adding a picket location in downtown Vancouver.
Negotiations between the Public Service Alliance of Canada and Treasury Board have ground to a halt. The government has dug in on their position and has shown no movement on the union's key issues, especially wages and remote work.
PSAC members are not willing to give up on fair wages and remote work, strike action has been escalated.
Where: Passport Canada Office, Sinclair Centre - 757 W Hastings St, Vancouver
When: April 26, beginning at 8AM.
PSAC regional executive vice president Jamey Mills will be available for media interviews at this location starting at 8:30AM.

Thousands of PSAC members in British Columbia have been on strike since April 19, fighting for fair wages, good working conditions and inclusive workplaces.
